Description
Öğrencilere belirli bir bölgenin veya ülkenin kültürel ve tarihi mirasını tanıma fırsatı sunduğundan, öğrencilerin tarihi yapıları, müzeleri, sanat eserlerini, gelenekleri ve diğer kültürel öğeleri daha iyi anlayan bireyler yetiştirmek.
Öğrencilere turizm sektörü, turizm rehberliği veya seyahat işletmeciliği alanında başarılı bir kariyer yapabilmeleri için turizm endüstrisinin işleyişi, Türkiye’nin tarihi, kültürü ve coğrafyası, sürdürülebilirlik, etik ve diğer önemli konular hakkında beceri ve bilgiyi kazanmalarını sağlayacak nitelikte turist rehberleri yetiştirmek.
Bu amaç doğrultusunda iyi derecede İngilizce ve orta düzeyde ikinci bir yabancı dili bilen; Türkiye’nin doğal, tarihi ve kültürel çekicilikleri hakkında bilgi sahibi; insan ilişkilerinde iyi iletişim becerilerinde yetenekli; olay ve olguları yorumlarken analitik düşünebilen; sorun çözme, yönetim ve organizasyon bilgisi ve yeteneği gelişmiş; hoşgörü, nezaket, saygı, dürüstlük gibi temel sosyal değerlere sahip; liderlik ve temsil yeteneği olan; nitelikli turist rehberleri ve yönetici adayları yetiştirilmesi hedeflenmektedir.
The aim of the department is to follow national and international developments and professional innovations, to train qualified tourist guides, employees, middle and upper level manager candidates who create added value to the sector with their knowledge and skills by providing an up-to-date scientific and quality education. For this purpose, who knows English at a good level and a second foreign language at an intermediate level; Turkey's natural, historical and cultural knowledge of attractiveness; gifted in good communication skills in human relations; can think analytically while interpreting events and facts; advanced problem solving, management and organizational knowledge and skills; possess basic social values such as tolerance, courtesy, respect and honesty; having leadership and representation ability; It is aimed to train qualified tourist guides and manager candidates.
