Description
Mardin Artuklu Üniversitesi Turizm İşletmeciliği ve Otelcilik Yüksekokulu 2010 yılında kurulmuş ve 2011-2012 akademik yılından itibaren bünyesinde “Konaklama İşletmeciliği Bölümü” ile turizm alanında eğitim vermiştir. Millî Eğitim Bakanlığı’nın teklif yazısı üzerine, 28/03/1983 tarihli ve 2809 sayılı Kanunun ek 30’uncu ve ek 158’inci maddelerine göre, Bakanlar Kurulu’nca 04/06/2018 tarihinde Mardin Artuklu Üniversitesi Rektörlüğü’ne bağlı olan Turizm İşletmeciliği ve Otelcilik Yüksekokulu’nun kapatılmasına ve aynı tarih ve kanun maddesi uyarınca “Turizm Fakültesi” kurulmasına karar verilmiştir.
Mardin Artuklu Üniversitesi Rektörlüğü'nün, Turizm Fakültesi Konaklama İşletmeciliği Bölümü adının Turizm İşletmeciliği Bölümü olarak değiştirilmesi konusundaki teklifi 10/04/2018 tarihli Yükseköğretim Yürütme Kurulu toplantısında incelenmiş ve 2547 Sayılı Kanun'un 2880 Sayılı Kanun'la değişik 7/d-2 maddesi uyarınca, mevcut öğrencilerin statülerinin korunması şartı ile söz konusu teklif uygun görülmüştür. 2019-2020 eğitim ve öğretim yılında “Turizm İşletmeciliği” adı altında öğrenci alınacaktır.
Mardin Artuklu University School of Tourism and Hotel Management was established in 2010 and has provided education in the field of tourism with the “Hospitality Management Department” since the academic year of 2011-2012. Tourism affiliated to the Rectorate of Mardin Artuklu University on 04/06/2018 by the Council of Ministers according to the additional 30 and additional articles 158 of the Law No. 2809, dated 28/03/1983, upon the proposal letter of the Ministry of National Education. It was decided to close the School of Business and Hotel Management and to establish a "Tourism Faculty" in accordance with the same date and article of the law. The proposal of the Rectorate of Mardin Artuklu University to change the name of the Tourism Faculty Hospitality Management Department to Tourism Management Department was examined at the Higher Education Executive Board meeting dated 10/04/2018 and in accordance with the article 7 / d-2 of the Law No. 2547 as amended by Law No. 2880. The proposal was deemed appropriate, provided that the status of current students is preserved. Students will be accepted under the name of "Tourism Management" in the 2019-2020 academic year.
