Turistik Bir Destinasyon Olan Mardin’in Yürünebilirlik Açısından İncelenmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı Mardin destinasyonunu ziyaret eden turistlerin yürünebilirliğe ilişkin algılarını ölçmektir. Bunun yanı sıra, turistler açısından yürünebilirlik olgusunu etkileyen faktörleri araştırmak çalışmanın bir diğer amacını oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmanın amacı doğrultusunda 486 ziyaretçiden yüz yüze anket görüşmesi ile elde edilen veri seti t-Testi ve ANOVA uygulanarak analiz edilmiştir. Katılımcıların “trafikten arınmışlık” faktörünü yürünebilirliği etkileyen en önemli faktör olarak değerlendirdikleri ve yürünebilirlik olgusunun turistik destinasyonlarda ziyaretçiler tarafından önemsenen bir husus olduğu desteklenmiştir.The aim of this study is to measure the perceptions of tourists visiting Mardin destination regarding walkability. In addition, researching the factors affecting the walkability for tourists generates another purpose of the study. In pursuant to the purpose of the study, face-to-face questionnaire that were collected from 486 visitors have been analysed through applying t-Test and ANOVA. It was supported that the participants considered the factor of “traffic freeness” as the most important factor affecting walkability and that the fact that walkability was a matter that was taken into consideration by the visitors in touristic destinations.
